The Inbetweeners 2

The Inbetweeners 2 is probably better than the first one, just.
Once again, the boys are off on holiday and it's another chance for them to take the piss out of stereotypes and generally dick about.
The series has always excelled in its scripting and the jokes and banter shared by these four friends who are so relatable to everyday life.
Once again, this is exemplary here but does rely a little too much on the toilet humour side of things this time.
Visual jokes abound with slapstick a fulcrum and, although this is understandable in a big budget, box office, record breaking film, it loses some of the charm of the small screen series.
Cruder isn't always better but, that said, it's still hilarious and the chemistry between the leads and the 'how-bad-can-things-ever-get' situations are fantastic shared with a cinema full of people.
It's not as good as the TV show, but was never going to be so, and, with that in mind, just enjoy what may be the last we see of the boys (the actors are closer to 30 than they are 19.)
The sheer charm of these now iconic characters holds this up.
