The 2017 Films Of The Year

After squabbles, in-fighting and more shuffling than a Vegas casino I present the best films of 2017:

20. Okja

19. Free Fire

18. The Lego Batman Movie

17. Logan

16. Wonder Woman

15. War For The Planet Of The Apes

14. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2

13. Spiderman: Homecoming

12. T2. Trainspotting

11. Moonlight

10. Dunkirk

9. Detroit

8. The Big Sick

7. The Handmaiden

6. Thor: Ragnarok

5. Manchester By The Sea

4. La La Land

3. Star Wars: The Last Jedi

2. Blade Runner 2049

1. Baby Driver

A nod to the films that, I'm sure, would have been in contention for the top 20 but I wasn't able to catch in time: iT, mother!, England Is Mine, Song To Song, Good Time, The Florida Project and Person To Person.

Close but no cigar nods to Silence, The Lost City Of Z, The Disaster Artist, Split, Jackie, Lion, Sing, Kong: Skull Island, Ghost In The Shell, Tramps, The Mummy, Atomic Blonde, American Made, Logan Lucky, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, The Death Of Stalin, Valerian: And The City Of A Thousand Planets and Alien: Covenant. The less said about Justice League the better.
